De dimineata va spuneam ca Apple doreste sa relanseze, impreuna cu iPhone 5c cu spatiu de stocare de 8 GB, cea de-a patra generatie de iPad, care sa inlocuiasca in oferta companiei vechiul iPad 2 prezentat in urma cu aproape trei ani. Ei bine, in urma cu cateva zeci de minute conpania americana a listat in magazinul sau online din nou iPad cu ecran Retina, modelul lansat in toamna anului 2012. Noul iPad listat in oferta Apple este disponibil numai intr-o versiune de 16 GB, atat in varianta Wi-Fi Only, cat si in cea Wi-Fi + Cellular.

La fel ca si in cazul noii versiuni de iPhone 5c, iPad-ul 4 relansat are aceleasi specificatii tehnice ca si cel disponibil din 2012 si pana in toamna anului trecut. Astfel, inlocuitorul iPad 2 are un procesor A6X cu doua nuclee si placa grafica pe patru nuclee, o camera iSight de 5 megapixeli, o camera frontala FaceTime de 1,2 megapixeli si nu numai. Pe langa aceste specificatii tehnice, in mod clar superioare cele ale iPad 2, noul iPad 4 are, fata de vechiul model de iPad, un ecran Retina si portul Lightning, iPad 2 fiind pana astazi singurul model de iPad comercializat care inca mai utiliza portul vechi de 30 pini.

Pretul noului iPad 4 a ramas acelasi ca si cel al iPad 2, tableta relansata costand 379 € in versiunea Wi-Fi si 499 € in versiunea Wi-Fi + 4G. Practic, relansarea noului model de iPad este menita sa atraga mai multi utilizatori si, mai important, mai multe institutii, catre tableta cu ecran de 9,7 inch, iPad 2 nemaifiind interesant pentru multi la 3 ani dupa lansare. Deocamdata resellerii autorizati de produse Apple nu au repus in vanzare noua tableta iPad, dar urmeaza sa o faca in zilele urmatoare.
