In cursul zilei de astazi, compania Apple a facut un anunt important pentru utilizatorii de dispozitive cu iOS sau OS X. iTunes Radio, serviciul de streaming audio pe care compania Apple l-a lansat in vara anului trecut, dupa o perioada lunga de negocieri si zvonuri, a fost lansat de compania americana in Australia, iar utilizatorii care au ID-urile Apple inregistrate in aceasta tara vor putea sa acceseze incepand de acum toate posturile radio prezente in catalogul iTunes Radio.
Serviciul celor de la Apple a fost disponibil pana acum numai utilizatorilor din Statele Unite (sau celor care au ID-ul Apple inregistrat in aceasta tara). iTunes Radio poate fi accesat in prezent de pe iPhone, iPad, iPod touch (care ruleaza iOS 7), de pe un computer cu versiunea 11.1 (sau mai recenta) a aplicatiei iTunes instalata, precum si de pe un Apple TV.
La fel ca si in cazul utilizatorilor din Statele Unite, iTunes Radio va putea fi accesat gratuit de toti cei care au un ID Apple si un dispozitiv compatibil. In cazul utilizatorilor care acceseaza gratuit, compania Apple va rula reclame in timpul transmisiunilor. Utilizatorii carora nu le sunt pe plac reclamele, vor putea plati un abonament iTunes Match care va elimina orice fel de reclama.
Chiar daca pentru majoritatea utilizatorilor romani vestea nu este tocmai atat de importanta, Apple ne da un semn bun. Incepand de acum s-ar putea sa vedem regulat noi tari adaugate in lista iTunes Radio, anumite zvonuri aparute pana in prezent dandu-ne de inteles ca Noua Zeelanda, Canada si alte cateva tari europene, printre care si Anglia, vor primi acces la serviciul de streaming audio al Apple in curand. Compania din Cupertino va deschide valul lansarii serviciului in si mai multe tari, lansarea in Romania fiind inca necunoscuta, dar poate destul de aproape.
